Babies eye color?

When did your babies color form? What is considered standard?


I did an internet search and found rather different answers.Babies eye color?
The standards depend on ethnic background of the parents. Of course this is generalized, but non Caucasian newborns are predominately born with brown eyes and most Caucasian children are born with blue eyes.





Predicting eye color is much more difficult because eye color is determined by multiple genes along With incomplete dominance. By this I mean that just because both parents have blue eyes, the child can develop green eyes.

I have brown eyes, my mom has hazel and my dad has brown as well. My husband has blue eyes his mom has blue eyes and his dad as well lol our 3 1/2 month old babyboy has blue eyes that look identical to his daddys!
Well I can tell you about our babies. I have brown eyes, my hubby has brown eyes. We have four kids all had blue eyes at birth except the new one.


One has Hazel green eyes


two have beautiful sparkling blue (eyes never changed)


and our little guy has dark eyes (two weeks old)


Not sure what his will be but maybe brown!


So two browns don't always make another brown like we were taught in biology class.
when my son was born he had gray eyes he is 6 months old now and they turn hazel then they get green ion them so they keep changing meandmy husband have brown eyes but my side of the family all have blue so the color really hasent set yet
If a baby's eye color is going to change, it will change a few weeks after birth. After that, it most likely wont change.
Most babies are born with blue or gray eyes. They can change to another color up to 1 year of age.
my daughter was born with deep blue eyes, then they became a little lighter, then turned greenish hazel and finally settled on brown!!! they stopped changing when she was about 5-6 months.
Both my son and daughter were born with blue eyes; they cannot change since both their father and myself have blue eyes.

My daughter will be 3 months old Wednesday. Her eyes have been deep blue since birth and have not changed.

my sons didnt turn until he was about 2.5, my daughters turned by the time she was 3 months
My girls both had dark brown eyes at birth. They haven't changed.
